Scripture

  1. Acts 2:41 [1]
So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls. (ESV)
  2. Genesis 17:7 [2]
And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you. (ESV)

This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your offspring after you: Every male among you shall be circumcised. (ESV)
  4. Galatians 3:17 [2]
This is what I mean: the law, which came 430 years afterward, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to make the promise void. (ESV)
  5. Galatians 3:18 [2]
For if the inheritance comes by the law, it no longer comes by promise; but God gave it to Abraham by a promise. (ESV)
  6. Galatians 3:29 [2]
And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise. (ESV)
  7. Acts 2:38–39 [2]
And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” (ESV)
