Question 39

With what attitude should we pray?

Children: With love, perseverance, and gratefulness.

Adult: With love, perseverance, and gratefulness; in humble submission to God’s will, knowing that, for the sake of Christ, he always hears our prayers.

Philippians 4:6 ^[1]
do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (ESV)
